The company GCF GeoConsult Fuchs - Natural-Stone-Service was founded in September 2005. The founder and managing director of the company Dr. Karlfried Fuchs, studied  geology and mineralogy at the university of Heidelberg (Germany). After the diploma he worked as scientific employee at the geological institute of Heidelberg and attained a doctorate by investigating the geology of the Orinoco Delta / Venezuela. He took part on several projects of the German Research Department (DFG) in Spain and Venezuela, to explore marble and granite occurrences. In this context he had always contact to the local marble and granite producing companies. To explore and to promote new materials was the main challenge. Being invited by his supervisor of the doctorate he subsequently functioned as scientific employee at the University of Pennsylvania / Philadelphia. From 1989 to 2005 he was 16 years in the employ of a big German natural stone producing company. Among experts Dr. Fuchs is appreciated as a natural stone specialist who travelled around numerous rock occurrences and quarry areas. In 2004 he was appointed "esperto di marmo" in Verona / Italy.

Beside Chinese materials we have also constantly Indian, Brazilian, Spanish and Italian natural stones on stock. Mainly as random slabs, tiles and skirtings.
Within the area of natural stone we rank among the specialists in the interior and outdoor program, as well as in the garden program.
